College: After playing through injury in 2010, "Jersey Joe" will be making a move to fullback eerily similar to the one made by Rutgers Legend Brian Leonard his senior season. Truely a team team player.

High School: Matinek is one of the more decorated high school players to ever come from the state of New Jersey. He was the 2006 Gatorade New Jersey State Player of the Year and finished his career as the all-time leader in New Jersey state history with 7,589 rushing yards and 80 touchdowns.
