While Rutgers still views Pearce as an offensive lineman, Maryland sees the powerful 250-pound athlete as a defensive tackle. The senior says that he has no preference and would be happy to play either position at the next level. He says that he doesn’t have a favorite between the two schools but he sounds as though he is rather fond of Rutgers.
