After seeing time at multiple positions in his sophomore year, Catholic Memorial will use Williams primarily as a strong safety in the upcoming season. In 2009, Williams registered more than 80 tackles on defense while hauling in 14 catches for 300 yards receiving.

He had a good showing at the Badger Elite 7-on-7 tournament. He proved that as a big linebacker, he can still keep up with smaller skill players on the offensive side of the ball.
